Welcome to Aspire Intervention

We are dedicated to assisting pupils in Essex who are struggling to adjust to senior school life.

Such vulnerable children may often be experiencing a variety of challenging life circumstances, affecting their ability to fully participate and learn.

Anger, unresolved sadness, anxiety and lack of confidence may be present or a general sense of hopelessness.

They may have no access to a suitably 'life experienced' trusted adult, able to offer personalised support, promoting safeguarding and wellbeing.

Aspire Intervention offers both individual and small group engagement, promoting safety and 'significant risk' reduction.  Instilling a sense of positive trajectory, where every child wants to be their best version of self.

With our help, children are encouraged to move 'onwards and upwards' as they quietly discuss and reflect upon key matters of concern, without judgement. Including exploring together the potential reasons likely to be fuelling any unsuitable activities.

We explore those habits or behaviours, where it would be in their interest to alter or improve the same. Together we identify, risk assess and problem solve these individual challenges. Looking for agreed strategies most likely to provide more positive outcomes.

Safer pathways are encouraged, with individual students guided towards improving their lives, avoiding potentially life changing errors of judgement.

Aspire Intervention fully supports pupils, giving them additional 'life tools' to help improve the quality of their young lives.

Our mentoring services strive to deter the need for the most serious sanctions, including possible permanent exclusion and its potential life diminishing consequences.

In essence, each individual pupil is enthusiastically encouraged to make wiser choices.....
